[EDIT #1 ... 21.11.2013]
Perhaps I was contacting the wrong type of scientists …
In the last week, I have reached out to acouple of scientists + researchers that are knowledgeable in the realm of near-death experiences, and for the first time ever I have gotten a reply. That’s great.
I’m starting to believe in science again, I just wish other scientists would also venture outside of what they have learned and understand to be true about the universe. Saying that, I’m guessing they are more focused on my Out-Of-Body experiences than that of astrology/psychics/etc … yet I feel that the two subjects are somehow entwined with each other.
I would still like to put Astrology to the test (while I still can) … so if a scientist and myself can come up with a means of testing things out under proper scrutiny, putting theories into practice … then I’m all ears.

In a basic nutshell …
Science Perspective :

Science understands that there is an unseen/largely-unknown energy. This is called ‘Dark Matter’ and makes up roughly 84.5% of the universe. Recently, science has discovered the Higgs-Boson particle (or ‘God particle’) – which is understood to be central to the big bang and the creation of all life.

Religious Perspective :

A generalised view across all religions, suggests that there is a ‘god’ that is ever present, exists within all of life, all matter, and the whole universe. This is also where I have come to find comfort in the philosophy of panpsychism … ‘pan’ meaning existing throughout everything.

Are the two paths of thought related? Who knows!

Yet – people within both of these groups rarely seek to discover things that exist outside of what they know. They restrict themselves to the known and don’t wish to hear about anything that contradicts their preconceived notions as to what reality could possibly be.

At this point I’d like to divert your attention to a blog article – Seeing the world with more than two eyes which discusses Science VS Religion. Jo Mooy has studied spiritual traditions for over 40 years, and can certainly elaborate more on the topic than I ever would be able to do.

Since the start of 2013, I have sought to try to validate some happenings in my life … for the most part, to try to prove to myself that these things are truly happening in my life.
The only places I have found solace are ‘New-Age/Spiritual’ stores + an esoteric studies group. Not only have they believed my stories, but some revered in what I said – as someone from the group said to me, to have such an experience is profound, although not completely unheard of.

Since I’m science minded, I have sought out to possibly try to run a test/experiment as to this phenomena that was happening (and perhaps in doing so, we could add some insight as to life’s mysteries). Yet – every scientist that I’ve emailed (as well as highlighting various aspects within my website) … not a single person has replied … One scientist (who is well known within Australia + he recently wrote an article about ‘is free-will an illusion?’ whereby he discussed that scientists can predict what our actions will be upto 4 seconds before we consciously make a choice) – I have emailed twice. Still no reply.
As Jonathan Cainer’s “thought for the day” said last week … Scientists not only disregard these happenings, but tend to scorn at Astrology as a whole … that certainly seems true from all the dead ends i’ve reached.

It’s disheartening, as I am fairly certain that ‘once I am with the one that I love so dearly’ (as my horoscope put it in 2010), I understand that – I will no longer have the assistance of any horoscope that I turn to, or be able to see into other people’s “soul mind” … as in, it’s a limited gift from the universe.
So I hope that you, the reader – understands why I have tried to reach out and put things to a test now rather than later … as later will be too late, and then we won’t be able to put things under proper scrutiny.

I have then contacted some people that hold Christian beliefs.
The only person in this field that I have managed to speak to essentially said that …
“I have been practicing magic. The devil is real and not to be messed with. I should never use an ouija board to contact other spirits/souls. I will go to hell if I do. He then said that I should read the bible if I wanted help and suggested that I attend church”.
I would just like to stress – I’ve never been part of a seance (and only ever seen an ouija board once in my life), nor have I even considered magic (dark arts, etc), nor gone down that road … I am an average, everyday person – yet I have a ‘gift’ (that I believe has been bestowed upon myself by the spiritual realm).

Part of Christianity’s fundamental teachings, is that ‘To be allowed into heaven, you must accept Jesus Christ as your saviour‘ … yet, in the last few decades, there has been more and more people with non-Christian beliefs having experiences of a spiritual/divine nature as well as ‘going into heaven’ (or experiencing ‘heaven’) … myself included.

So could Christianity have made an error of judgement? And perhaps, the above statement (and bible verses) is more borne out of fear and control. Does the spiritual realm infact know no boundaries, and is extended into every religion, every person, all of life – no matter what !!!
This is where Esotericism has a better understanding … which basically says, that EACH AND EVERYONE of us are ALWAYS connected to the spiritual/divine – no matter at what point we are on our individual journey. We are working our way up ‘the tree of life’, a process of gradual steps (which can sometimes be a step backwards).

So you can certainly see the polar views between Science and Faith, and neither seems willing to validate my experiences. So where does that leave me?

Well, like others (yes, I am certainly not alone) … it has meant going down a long path of self-discovery, taking myself away from what my previous life was … and practically devoting my life to shedding light on these mysteries. A similar comparison to myself is Eben Alexander, who wrote the book ‘Proof Of Heaven – a neurosurgeon’s journey into the afterlife‘.

Today, I read a blog post on CNN.com – regarding how traditional religion/church tends to shy away from this topic … http://religion.blogs.cnn.com/2013/05/19/proofs-of-heaven-popular-but-not-with-the-church/ … and the post certainly rang true to my experiences.

After the suggestion from this Christian person I mentioned above, I did turn to the bible … but in doing so, I found grave inconsistancies. I’m guessing that this is to do with early christianity (when the bible was written) and Christianity in it’s current form.

1.) Multiple heavens – early Christianity did believe in this … yet current Christianity only believes in the one (singular) heaven.
2.) Re-Incarnation – again, this seemed to exist in early Christianity - yet the orthodox church tried to put a stop to these Christian Gnostics and the very existance of these teachings.

Regarding point #1
One of the main verses in the bible regarding multiple heavens is 2 Corinthians 12:2.
And the current Christian understanding is that, while there is only 1 singular heaven (instead of different levels of heaven), there are certainly different levels of reward in heaven.
Are these two infact one and the same … two ideas that have merged over time?

Regarding point #2
Please refer to Reincarnation and the Early Christians for greater detail.

i.) At what point did Christianity stop believing in more than one heaven????
ii.) When did Christianity change it’s beliefs?
Some say that this happened at the Second Council of Constantinople in 533AD.

I’ve done abit of searching online and can find no clear point where things changed (other than some hearsay regarding 533AD) … yet there seems to clearly be a strong deviation from current Christianity, and that of when the bible was written – when did that conjecture happen? why the differences? and why such little documentation on the changes that were made?
… that is still a mystery.

From 2004 to 2011, every time I had an astral projection experience, I can remember upon entering, all these spirits/souls of the spiritual world sighing and going “awww”, as if they were let down or feeling sorry for me – I presume it was because my wish/desire had gone unfulfilled (the souls did this in a similar fashion, as to what the crowd at a PGA golf championship does when the golfer just misses the hole during a critical putt).

With one of the astral experiences that I had towards the end of March 2011 …
instead, for the first time ever, the spirits/souls of the spiritual world were all clapping and cheering and going “yay”.

During this experience, 2 things happened …
1.) I chatted to the spirit/soul of my 1st love.

And our two souls came to an agreement (which could be defined as a ‘soul contract’) that we’d start our lives together after her trip to India – as her spirit/soul asked me if I would wait for her until she went on her trip … although, something that happened ‘in the material/physical world’ acouple of weeks after the astral experience – her soul didn’t want to wait (I could almost write a whole book about this part almost on it’s own. another time perhaps?).
I would like to remind this person, that she went on her trip to India back in October 2012 … it’s been many many years since we’ve had a proper conversation, but “I just know” – that was when you went on your trip – as “I felt it” (just like I’ve sensed many other things occurring) … is there more than just the 5 physical senses? was I tuned into a deeper/spiritual level??? Of course, JC’s horoscopes did help to make me fully aware of it … but then, it highlights … just how interconnected humanity is at the spiritual/soul level as to other people – and that the soul of others (eg. loved ones) may be able to “look in” or feel on what we are doing at any given time.

Lastly, I would like to ask this person when was the last time that she was “in love” with her current partner K…. ? Truth be told, it was back at the very start of January 2012 (and that brief period that they were “in love” only lasted for a couple of days). How do I know this? Well I sensed/felt it. Similar to how I have been able to intuitively ‘feel’ emotions of those that have a strong meaning in my life.

Also, the entire reason why you were “in love” for those few days, was because you/your-soul was so scared that the world was about to end (since you thought that whole Mayan calendar thing happened on Jan 1 2012, as opposed to the proper date in Dec 2012). Anyway, I digress.
Hence it was a way of providing comfort and support, to help give you reassurance. Putting you at ease.

2.) I saw (what I believe to be) the energy paths of my 1st love and myself … and for the first time ever, it showed our energy paths coming together and intersecting [Fig. B]. Whereas previous astral experiences, I saw the energy paths as 2 separate paths [Fig. A].

[note - Fig. B was the last time that I saw the energy paths - I've had 1 astral journey since then, but I believe that I didn't "reset" my path, hence not seeing any energy paths on that occassion ... so I presume that would mean that Fig. B is my current spiritual path that I am heading on ... which to me means that at some point in the future my path will intersect again with that of my 1st-love/soulmate and we'll be 'in love'.]

Also, with March 2011, during a different astral experience where I chatted to the spirit/soul of my 2nd love. On that occasion I saw a 3rd energy path [Fig. C]. Every other astral experience I had only seen 2 paths. Although, this was the first time I had ever chatted to the spirit/soul of my 2nd love.

With regards to [Fig. C] : none of the paths actually joined/intersected each other. They spiralled around closely in a ‘mess’ without connecting – but I wasn’t able to show that in the diagram.

During the astral experience, I was always shown these energy paths right towards the end of the astral journey – just prior to going back through “the tunnel” and into my body.
It would flash on-off about 4-5 times … sort-of like lightening in slow motion (starting at the top and working it’s way down) … and to me it really felt like it was “lighting or showing a path from the present point in time to a future point” – hence why I believe that they are energy paths of certain souls.

Time will tell - but as I have said, at some point in the future I’m certain I’ll be ‘in love’ with my 1st-love, and if that is the case – then that will further cement my belief that these ‘energy paths’ that I saw during my astral experiences were of certain souls.
Which then that leads to a whole set of questions …

Is it possible to predict a person’s future???
… do psychics, etc somehow interpret these ‘energy paths’ in some way?
Is a person’s future set in stone?
… or only a rough general direction?
Is it possible to alter your spiritual path/direction?
… only the ‘remote mind’ (soul) decide this, or does the ‘local mind’ have a say?
… and does this only happen ‘out-of-body’ (in the astral) or ‘in-body’ as well?
… does GOD or spiritual guides help our soul decide this path?

In spiritual/new-age, some books discuss that souls make plans together (prior to incarnating in a physical body) … eg. the souls plan to interact with each other in some specific pre-planned way. a long-term relationship/marriage? mother/son?
… but surely this would propose that the souls of these people must have known each other prior. This also hints at the notion of reincarnation.

Just a parting thought.

[Correction made to post 10.01.2013]
Since it it was almost 2 years a go that I last experienced these ‘energy paths’, my memory was a little fuzzy at the time of writing. Apon further thought, I have now corrected the error in my writing above.

It is also worth mentioning, in the first few months of 2011 … I had roughly 4 Astral experiences all within the space of acouple of weeks. Whereas previously, the Astral experiences were spaced acouple of years apart.
Having so many experiences close together, was partially due to trying to fix up a mistake (of sorts) that I made (as some things happened that my ‘local mind’ didn’t intend to happen).

Imagine being attracted to 2 people at the same time (I guess, similar to those that are in polyamous romantic relationships), albeit only for a couple of days – until I fixed up the error via another astral experience.
Immediately after that astral experience (when I woke up the very next morning) I was no longer attracted to my 2nd love anymore, it was as if we were simply mutual friends (akin to someone/something flicking an on/off switch).
The astral experience where I fixed things up, is also the one where I saw the energy paths as Fig. B in the diagram above.

Also worth noting …
On one of the other astral experiences during March 2011, I also tried chatting to the spirit/soul of a female friend at the time (whom my own soul has no ‘direct connection’ to). But the soul of my friend didn’t answer my attempts.

Imagine – going from the source/centre-of-all, out through a tunnel (similar to the tunnel that originally took me from my body to the source, god, etc) and to something similar to a front door of a house (which to me represents a ‘virtual front door’ for that particular spirit/soul). Knocking on that front door, and even though there’s a spirit/soul there, (for whatever reason) the spirit/soul decided not to open that ‘virtual front door’ … hence I didn’t get to chat to that spirit/soul on this astral journey.

Thinking back to the last time I had an OBE and experienced the astral plane …

Similar to other times, I had “the tunnel experience” (which also fits in with the vast number of people that have had near death experiences throughout the world).
I believe I went back to “the centre through which all emanates from, and all of life is connected to” (ie. god, the source, universal centre, zero point field, etc).

At this point – in a similar experience (yet also very different) as to what happened to me on that fateful day in April 2011 where I went for a walk around the river (ie. my local conscious mind had no control over what was being said, as the words that I “spoke” were not of my conscious mind). My remote mind (spirit/soul) said …
“I would like to move A… closer to me as she has a kind soul. But I still want Z..”

Worth noting – I didn’t actually verbally speak these words – they were somehow communicated between my soul and god, telepathically (I “spoke” but my mouth didn’t actually move) … this is one of the major differences between this astral experience and the experience that took place in April 2011 in the material/physical world (the conversation between the soul of myself and the soul of my 1st love).

After the astral journey, I was thinking ”what have I done? gee I really hope I haven’t stuffed things up.”

Now I understand so much more. It also fits in with subsequent books that I have read in that souls can move closer to other souls (albeit in the books they all talk about that happening during a stage of death, not while the person is still alive). But I guess, having an OBE + “tunnel experience” isn’t something that happens in normal day-to-day life.

One thing that I have learnt since 2010 – is that anything in this world is possible – even if the above may sound farfetched to the average person.”
